The images show Blossfeldt's ability to see art in the pure abstraction of nature. At one and the same time very artful but also an example of the "Neue Sachclichkeit" (new sobriety) in art and photography of the 20s and early 30s. 

Hardcover under dust jacket, 25 x 32 cm. WITHOUT dust jacket. In good condition, traces of use and discolorations. Spots on the last plate (see picture). Beautifully printed.
