A collection of portraits modeled on a woman who works at a brothel in Yoshiwara, based on the image of Midori, the heroine of the novel "Takekurabe" by Ichiyo Higuchi, set in a Yoshiwara red-light district. There is no nudity while using a prostitute as a model.

Softcover, 28,7 x 22,7 cm, first edition, b&w photographs. 2 white stickers on the staples. In very good condition.
