Chong Hoi & Rusty Fox, photographers from Macao. Have recently published an experimental photo-book project incorporating design, electronic music, and poetry with our photography. They began this project with an Eastern philosophy, using a fable to represent our dystopian feeling of this world.

It was such a big present to received positive feedback from the documentary photography professors of University of South Wales, Newport.

Macao was once a Portuguese colony, the city now belongs to mainland China. Deep in our hearts we always have complex feelings about our identity, and have different ideology in mind.

Economic crisis, inflation, and social issues, are all relevant problems which deal hard blows to us everyday. Our people fear becoming the bottom line of the food chain within this capitalist society. As photographers, we chose to use pictures to speak for ourselves.
