"Based on her own experience, Amelia Garcia, photographer, creates “Querido”, a book where manipulation of the archive and photography complement each other in order to pay tribute to the nature of Love.

Via her photographs and the modification of the archive left behind by her former partners, she manages to create a new message, in the shape of a small book.

A single billet doux, a sole shadow, along with the pictures, brings the dead memory back and marks those moments’ referents. The uniqueness of each love revives these experiences in their very own way. Amelia manipulates the missives, in order to emulate the plant’s birth, bloom and withering cycle".
