Inspired nudes from the 1960's, under the influence of Aubrey Beardsley and Alastair (Oscar Wilde's illustrators) and shot in a style reminiscent of a cross between Provoke and Eikoh Hosoe. A beautiful edition of japanese nudes with strong contrasts and graphic effects.

Hardcover and original acetate overlay, in slipcase and shipping box, 397 x 272 mm. First edition, 1970. Gravure printing. Limited edition of 500 numbered copies. Included in Alessandro Bertolotti, Livres de nus, p.170. The shipping box has some defaults, the slipcase and the book are in a very good condition. Impressive gravure printing with some rice papers inside. Scarce and collectible copy with the rare shipping box!
