The photo book New York, New York by the Hungarian photographer György Lörinczy (1935-1981) appeared in 1972. The book is a series of experimental images of amongst others the hippie culture, performances, sinuous highways, skyscrapers and street scenes. The sequence of the images, with solarizations, distortions and extreme black and white contrasts make the spirit of the 60s tangible.

Hardcover under jacket, 25 x 21cm. Reprint edition made by Markus Schaden. Text in Hungarian and in English in a separate booklet of 4 pages. In very good condition (Slight marks on the lower part of the spine).
