Through this series, Hong Kong photographer Wai Kwong Chan shows us the life and atmosphere of Macau, a former Portuguese colony located just opposite Hong Kong. The photographer went there several times in order to get his snapshots, which are as astonishing as they are striking. He was able to capture the surrealism of this city where the excessiveness of contemporary Chinese buildings is displayed next to historical colonial masterpieces.
