I have always been touched by the ephemeral side of things and living beings, by the inexorable passage of time.
My first series, "Vanitas", was inspired by the tradition of painting and wanted to represent this painful aspect.
Photography does not pin the butterfly.
It freezes it to represent it, its being, knowing that it is already ready to fly away, to disappear. This is what this art does with an emotion, with light, with a flower or a body.
