Workshop is the name of the photography school of which the first class was held April 22 1974. This school was comprised of classes by six important Japanese photographers: Nobuyoshi Araki, Shomei Tomatsu, Masahisa Fukase, Eikoh Hosoe, Daido Moriyama, and Noriaki Yokosuka, who also edited these issues. These last four editions of Workshop are stapled softcovers in vertical layout, and are comprised of photos, texts, and dialogues by these six photographers. The editing differs from the first four issues in that there is not necessarily a specific organization of the subjects depicted by the photographers.
