"Taken from my collection for their potential to evoke a world of sound, however tenuous, these photographs were taken with a very low-end compact digital camera. The files are digitally processed to reduce the definition of the image. The halftone film, printed on a transparency, is transferred to an offset plate. This plate, inked by hand in the same way as a lithographic stone, is pressed. This technique makes it possible to print on very thin paper, giving the prints a floating character. This slow printing process adds value to poor images in the age of 4K ultra high definition."
