Created in 1977 by Nicole Wisniak, Egoïste gathers photographs, and texts by various artists and thinkers of its time. The ads for famous luxury brands were created specially for the magazine.. This issue is famous for its cover, a portrait of Andy Warhol by Richard Avedon. It also includes a portait of Chet Baker by Avedon and one of Sigourney Weaver by Helmut Newton.
