Obviously this is funny , silly and a bit mean. But it relates to the square image and the idea
Of photography itself. Of utility vs ideas ..of art, of position to the world, the nature of the image as an object rather than as product of a trade, that no longer exists ..
This is a rework of some silver prints I made some time ago (2010) for a book called III . The book is weird , that’s why i still like it . But I always felt it could go further, there are lots of other images i left out in the original that I prefer as it has a wider feel to it. less constricted by the III aspects/ boundaries I set myself ..
The pages were set like this for a show in unsocial gallery , Moderna in 2023
